Slippery When Wet Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Oneyedjack: Well I must say this one lasted longer than most thought it would. 10 months and 16 days, it was good while it lasted. The cache was muggled, the container was found elsewhere in the park with most of the contents gone, not a total lose though. I think I will replace the container at Rough Rider with this one. Thanks for the fun!!

Geocache Description:

This Cache (Ammo can painted Camo) is placed in Indian Rock Park. The usual trade items were included with the cache. We placed one of our new Travel Bugs in here called, “Lucky and Poncho”, I am sure if you ever see this TB you will be amused. Some nice views are in store especially around sunrise or sunset. Don’t leave your camera at home.

As the name implies, I would only attempt this one in dry weather. This area could become dangerously slippery when wet. The sunshine and wind are your friend on this one. This cache is not for the faint of heart; depending on your approach to the cache you might have a tough vertical assent, or a long walk but not over .11 miles. The terrain is anything but level. Please be cautious with your kids, I don’t mean for you to shy away from bringing your kids, because they will have a ball and be perfectly safe with just a little caution! This area is loaded with joggers and hikers, please try to be discreet. Thanks and I hope you have a great time!
