A gathering of the best looking cachers in the country
Yup, it's that time again. WV get together 2004! A time to meet, swap stories, tell lies, eat food, and the like. Please come meet the people who hid those caches you love to look for. The event is May 22, 2004 starting at noon, at Shelter #5. It's at Sutton Lake.
Directions:
I-79 north from Charleston:
Take the Flatwoods exit on I-79, get off the interstate, turn right and proceed to stop light and turn right onto Rt. 19. Travel approximately 1 mile and turn left (Go-Mart on left) and travel about 2.5 miles on Rt. 15 and then turn right (Big sign here for Bee Run). Travel another 2 miles and turn left just before you get to the bottom of the hill and the lake area.
I-79 south from Morgantown:
Take the Flatwoods exit and turn left, then same as above.
Also see the attached picture. As last year, it's a bring your own dish sign up. The shelter costs money, so I'm asking a $3 entry fee for each geocacher ID. I can't wait to meet Puter, K8, Instep guy, and all the other rookies that are taking WV by storm. And old veterans like Cache Potato, EliJoMikMini, MITW, and the like. The lady of the lake said that they had no special federal restrictions against placing caches at the lake. So you are free to put a couple in for the get together if you like. Please feel free to post if you are planning to attend. Can't wait to see you all!
