Geocache Description:

No Zombies

A green ammo can hidden in the Podick Conservation Area near the intersection of Amherst, Hadley, and Sunderland.

Park off Route 116 at 42° 25.316 N, 72° 32.278 W (don't block the entrance!), and follow the trail (and the GPSr arrow) in. It's about a half-mile hike to the cache, which should require very little bushwhacking (less than fifty meters.) When in doubt, follow the yellow-blazed trail. If conditions are good, you should be able to follow the trail to complete the loop of the area, but when I placed the cache a sign warned that parts of the trail might be flooded due to beaver activity. (When I made the hide, the hike could be made with dry feet if one stepped carefully.)

The cache is named for Bub's Bar-B-Q, one of my all time favorite feed stops, just north on Route 116 in Sunderland. Bub's was once called "the best barbeque in New England." A visit to Bub's is not required to log the cache, but if you're here around mealtime (and Bub's is open) you probably won't be disappointed.

The hint is a screaming spoiler, so don't decode it if you want to retain any kind of challenge to the cache.

When placed, the container was quite full and included lots of good stuff. First Finder should make sure to look for a not-yet-activated Travel Bug dog-tag which is the FTF prize; it might be hard to spot at first!

This cache should be findable through the winter.
