Geocache Description:

Three-stage cache in St. Clair County

Claude Ptolemy taught everyone how to get from one place to another. Among other things, he invented the very concept of geography. Even though he lived about three millennia before Columbus, he knew the Earth was round. He even calculated its diameter, coming very close to the 7926.4 miles agreed to by today's scientists and mathematicians. Let's see how well you were paying attention in his class. This is a three-stage multi in St. Clair County. The cache contains the weapons of math instruction.
