U of U Campus Cache #1 Traditional Cache
DrewBeeMiller: I have archived this cache because I can't find the cache container. I think that it may have been found by a groundskeeper, or it has been hiddedn a little too well in the pine needles. I have tried twice to find it with no luck.

This is an easy walk from the visitor parking lot at the Union Building in the U of U campus.
The cache is located near the base of a fir tree whose lower most limbs touch the ground. The cache is a 35mm film canister covered with a green geocaching sticker. In the cache is a cache note, log papers and a pencil. Please do not bring anything to trade as there is not much room in the cache. This is a simple cache nothing special, just a quick cache stop. Eventually we hope to place more micro caches around campus and turn them into a multi-cache. For now this cache will serve as an experiment for the durability of the cache against deer, lawn mowers, sprinklers and grounds maintenance crews.
