This geocache is located right under the back side of one of the more obvious large rocks in the area.
It seemed the approach to the point from the North Shore had more caches than the Leeward side so I thought I would even up the score, and the score will be even I think if Holiday Hugs comes back into action! (I hope that one day someone will put a microcache in that cave!) At first I intended to hide this cache way uphill by the telephone poles but it was so treacherous getting up there (with plenty of briars and ankle turning potential) I decided to spare anyone else that awful experience. The hiding place I finally chose is more merciful and reasonable. This cache is under a taller rock (see photos) but also covered over by a few smaller rocks so you will have to remove a few to get to it. ***Special Request - All reports note that the cache container lid has almost totally eroded. Can someone bring out a replacement container? The container right now is a peanut butter jar so something like that would be perfect. Thanks to anyone who can help with this.
