Not Happy Jan Multi-Cache

This cache has been archived.

zactyl: Cache is definitely gone. As has the carpark! [:O][:D] New paths too, and the riverbank has been cleaned up quite a bit. The trees have been trimmed, GZ is not as well concealed a spot now, looks like a popular place for the kids who aren't involved in the soccer game to play, and difficult for cachers to remain inconspicuous. I think this one is a lost cause. [:(]

Geocache Description:

Not hard to find, just some numbers gathering and simple maths involved. The cache is near some parks and just down the road from public toilets. Slight scramble down a bank may be necessary to find cache (but not compulsory) and spiders and snakes may be a possibility.

Not Happy, Jan!

Take that, Jan!

Another Aussie icon becomes the catch-cry of people all over Australia.

This is an Offset cache, go to the first Waypoint, do the maths, then a very short walk (~60m) to find the cache.
Start at the location as given on this webpage, then:
  • Have a picnic at the table nearby.
  • Have a frolic in the field of clover. You might find a lucky one!
  • Have a read of the plaque on the rock and learn some history.
On the plaque, you will read about a man to whom the park is dedicated.

He lived from df/dd/dfvw to ab/c/beed.

The park was dedicated to him on 'y' December 2002.

In 'dfyz' he pursued his artistic destiny.

It was dedicated by the Division 'f' Representative.
g=f-5.

Reception at the cache site is a problem, stay on the path until you are a bit past the cache, then move in for the hunt! Look for the biggest tree near the path, climb down the bank out of sight, and that should put you in a good starting position (though you don't HAVE to climb down the bank) ;)
Cache is covered with small branches and leaf litter.
If someone has a GPSr that gives good coordinates under trees, please feel free to send them to me!

Grab the cache, drop off, pick up, log and away you gooo...
