The hike from the parking area to the North Peak is 5 miles. The majority is on a fire road with fantastic views. From the parking area to the fire road is somewhat rocky and steep.
Each season makes this hike special but I'd imagine the summer very hot. Make sure you bring enough water. Once on top the effort is well worth it. I've been up many times and always wished there was a cache, now there is.The original cache is in a two quart container with a black top and contains: Blue Hair Troll Oklahoma Bottle Opener Rose Lapel Pen Mini Slinky Shell Necklace Log Book and Pens Geocache Info Page
