Variations on a Theme IV Traditional Cache
Red Hot Mama: Out caching with Wooley Moran. I decided this one needed to be archived. I am no longer able to maintain this cache. The container has become leaky and the camo has been lost. I decided it is time to say good bye and make the area available for other cachers to place a cache. I took the cache home with me and it will be no more. Bye-bye Variations on a Theme IV.

This is a continuation of the Variation On a Theme series I started last year. This one is located in Johnsrud Park. The terrain is easy, with no elevation gain, and a tiny bit of bush-whacking the last few steps. The container is only slightly larger than a microcache, a long, narrow, tubular container. It is well camouflaged so will not be easy to recognize. Only small items can be traded. The original contents are items I found in other caches and are as follows: String of beads, small lizard, polished rocks, a Canadian 5 cent piece with a hole in the middle, rose crystal, Tabasco sauce, and a bull dog pin. There is also a log at the top of the container, and a mechanical pencil to be left in the cache. Please replace the log at the top of the container as if it is further down the next person won't be able to remove it. Please replace everything exactly as you find it so the cache can be properly preserved. Enjoy the cache, the Park, and the River.
