Interesting area, a nice place to stop and look at the surrounding desert and some of the birds that are here. This marker caught our eye, so we stopped to read it. It's not like most other historical markers, but still unique.
Verification of your Visit:

Your picture can include either yourself (aka a selfie) or, if you prefer privacy, a scrap of paper or another object with your caching name clearly written on it. Post your picture with your log. There is no need to send it to me via email or message. Feel free to include additional pictures as well, but the verification picture must have the plaque visible in it.
Unverified 'Found It' Logs will be deleted.
Note: The only reason the terrain rating is a 1.5 is that you have to come out on an unpaved road for about 3 miles. We had no problem in our family van, and there were lots of other "cars" out there too, but I just wanted you to be aware of that.
