Geocache Description:

Located in the "Majors Property", the Town of Aurora's newest park acquisition.

This cache was given to me by my daughter as a Christmas 2003 gift. It was a great gift and a great surprise. We needed to wait until now to place it so the snow could melt and she was home from college for Easter.Park on Hubbard Rd. at N42deg 44.861', W78deg 36.916'. This will be located if front of an abandoned green cabin. The trail starts on the left rear side of the cabin and is marked by small white diamond shaped markers with a red tree painted on them. The trail is fairly obvious, but there are a couple of places where you need to detour around some muddy areas and a downed tree or two. This trail was constructed last summer by a Boy Scout from Troop 513 in East Aurora. It was his Eagle Project.Do not try to get to this cache from Olean Rd; since this route would entail crossing a creek and walking through a very wet area.
