Cache is located in Devil’s Hopyard State Park. The principle feature of the park, Chapman Falls, drops more than sixty feet over a series of steps in a Scotland Schist stone formation. The Devil's Hopyard is a series of woodland trails where you could go as short as 200 meters or as far as 7 miles in a loop. The terrain varies from soggy bottomlands, to moderate climbs on rocky slopes and jumping rock to rock along the river. Majority of the trails are well traveled but not well blazed. It can be busy on nice weekends, but is quiet as you hike away from the main road and falls. Park at the Chapman Falls Campground lot and find the trail southwards across the street by the waterfall. Continue downstream past the picnic area to the small covered footbridge to the trail entrance. If interested, several other caches reside near by. Directions and a trail map can found at (visit link)
