Geocache Description:

The initial coordinates listed for this cache will bring you to a unique Seminole County Park located on the St. John’s River. Bring along a fishing pole, some worms, and a picnic lunch and make it a time of fun!Near the listed coordinates you must find a freestanding plaque where you will learn the history of this fishing pier and how it came to be. Make sure you read this plaque very carefully, for there are major hints as to the location of the final cache in the information provided. From the plaque location you will need a compass or you can use your GPS bearing indicator, if so equipped. Go 50 paces (+/-) on bearing 025. After pacing off, you will be within 30 feet of the final cache location. This is a very busy park on the weekends because it also is a popular spot to launch a boat into the river. Moguls are many, and one must have fairly good stealth skills. You may want to plan and think dawn or dusk if you are a weekend cacher. The final cache is a traditional ammo box. The initial treasures include: -Log book, pen & pencil -Special FTF prize -VHS Movie – John Carpenter’s Halloween -Toy stuffed bunny rabbit -Wizard’s hand thrown ceramic flower pot -Pair of safety sun glasses -Pair of ladies garden gloves -Industrial Tool-Lite with 2 AA batteries -Huggie -12 hour orange snap light -A Book–“The Secret Life of Bees” a NY Times bestseller by Sue Monk Kidd -Doggy pig skin chews (for the geo-dogs) -Tri-colored highlighter -Box of Crayola Crayons -Two neck straps (great for GPS) -Stress diamond -Beach Ball -Toy stuffed chicken -Mouse Pad -Stethoscope -Pencil eraserRemember what anglers around the world say, “When you go fishing, you never know what you are going to cache!” Good luck fellow cachers…Team Piss Ants and Yettay
