Geocache Description:

My first attempt at hiding a cache!!

My family and I had a picnic this Easter at a park near Portland, OR where my brother and his wife live. (The “earwax” team.) After eating a few burgers and tossing the Frisbee around we (Mr. Earwax and I) hiked around this park looking for a good location to hide a cache I’ve been carrying around in my backpack for the last few weeks. It didn’t take us too long to find what seemed to be a pretty decent location for my first hide. However, after setting it up on the Internet I learned that the location we had picked out was to close to another cache in the area. Since I don't live in OR I called my brother and asked if he and his wife would be willing to relocate the cache. They were happy to be a part of my first hide so they said they'd take care of it. The name of this cache refers to the cache container rather than the location. I found this item in Goodwill a few months ago knowing with a little work it would make a great cache container. After a few coats of paint it took on the appearance I was looking for. I hope it makes all of you who find it laugh out loud. (Well, you can at least smile all the way back to your car…)
