Geocache Description:

This cache is located in a small woodland, noted for it's Bluebells in the spring and just on the outskirts of the village Compton Dando.

For more history of this village, see the "Historic Compton" cache, which you pass if you start from the coordinates below.

The best place to park is on the road opposite the village hall and The Compton Public House (N51*22.725 W002*30.392). Some of the paths can be muddy, so take appropriate footwear

The walk to the cache takes you along the "Forest for the Community Path", through the church of Compton Dando (Where the Wild Trekkers were married), then along and across the river Chew. The path then takes you in to the tranquil Bluebell woods.

If you have time, the have a wonder around the paths of the woods, especially when the bluebells are out.
