[Dan:] Rundtur i Dyrehaven med udgangspunkt i Bakken
[Eng:] Round trip in Dyrehaven Park starting from Bakken Amusement Park

[Dan:]

Rundturen tager to-tre timer at spadsere.

  6. Cachen ligger G61 meter fra pælen, på breddegraden N55°47.(B-1)(B+6)(B+B).

[Eng:]
Bakken (lit.: "The hill") which claims to be the oldest amusement park in the world, occupies a southern corner of Jægersborg Dyrehave north of Copenhagen. Bakken is far less known than its bigger brother Tivoli in central Copenhagen. However, Bakken is very popular among Copenhagen citizens and their visitors from the countryside. It is renowned as less sophisticated and pretentious than Tivoli, nonetheless respectful of its traditions. Entrance to Bakken is free, but they charge you for the amusements.

At "Bakkens Hvile" (lit.: "The hill's rest") you can enjoy "bakkesangerinder" (female "Bakken" singers) and Rubenesque waitresses with their chests full of mugs of beer. In accordance with tradition, nosy spectators are brought to stage and humiliated in good spirit by the singers. "Ølgod" (pun on a town named Ølgod, lit.: "Beer-good") is a large beer-house in traditional style. Spare ribs and free beer is the only menu item.

The coordinates are about half-way between "Bakkens Hvile" and "Ølgod". The walk takes a couple of hours. Most of the route can be completed on bicycle. In the summer season, you may finish the hunt with a beer at one of the places, or another place you may find.

  1. Find "Bakkens Hvile" and "Ølgod", and measure the distance between them - at the middle of their fronts. The distance is AB0 meters (10 meters' accuracy).
  2. Find the big old oak at N55°47.A09' E012°34.1(8 x B)'. About 60 meters to the north-east of the tree is a small hill with a slight cavity at the top. The direction from the tree to the top of the hill is C0 degrees (10 degrees' accuracy).
  3. Find the gargoylic sculpture at N55°47.(A+C)01' E012°34. (C-B)70'. It is the southernmost in a row of similar sculptures guarding some entrances nearby. DE is the total number of breasts on the sculptures. If you calculated this location precisely, your estimation of A, B and C is probably correct. Otherwise, you may have to adjust either A, B, or C.
  4. N55°47.E96' E012°34.(A+C)06' marks a crossroads next to a feeding house for the deer. F is the number of feeding trays surrounding the building. Please stay on the path and do not disturb the deer.
  5. At N55°47.ABB' E012°3C.(F+B)(B+C)C you'll find a tall pole at the end of a wooden barrier. G benches are mounted to the barrier (including a small bench).
  6. The cache is placed G61 meters from the pole, at latitude N55°47.(B-1)(B+6)(B+B).
