An easy walk through the park, part paved, part not, part bushwhacking.
Park at 41 33.336, 086 43.855 and take a walk down the trail, around the pond, past the wetlands, into the woods. Don't step on the wildflowers. Look for geese and ducks and birds and snakes (yikes!!). No entry charge. Enjoy the park and don't miss the nature center. In the Spring the trailhead is very wet and muddy. Boots needed. This part of the park is not maintained as much after the big storm. More bushwhacking to do.
