Micro cache near cultural center in Ormond Beach. BYOP
Cache is a magnetic key case hidden close to an historic old house, circa 1914, which now serves as a city cultural center. "The Casements", as it is called because of the many casements-type windows, was once the former home of industrialist John D. Rockefeller. Across the street was the site of the Ormond Hotel, a veritable winter playground for wealthy northerners who came south in their own pullman cars on Henry Flagler's railroad to paradise. Guests included Henry Ford, Thomas Edison, former First Lady Mrs. Ulysses Grant, among others. It is said Rockefeller bought the Casements because he found out that he was being charged more than the other guests at the hotel.
