through for the Route 66 Festival visit link in Tulsa this summer.

There is a good place to pull off the highway nearby. The cache
is near enough to see the road but the area is wooded, on a slight
slope and there is a small creek to hop over. Bring your bug spray
unless it's the dead of winter. I carried six new friends out with
me when placing it. It's NOT in that animal hole so don't go
reaching in there.
This is a themed cache full of Oklahoma tourist schlock -
magnets, thimbles, spoons, keychains, postcards, golfballs, etc. -
so if you're from outside Okla., please leave something from your
hometown or state and if you're from here, dig out that piece of
junk you bought in "insert name of tourist trap here" and trade
it.
Finally, this is a good luck cache, guaranteed to bring luck in
the day's caching to all who find it. Why? Because 1)it was placed
on Good Friday 2)it is placed in a never-happen-again
conglomeration of caching firsts: first cache I've placed, the day
of my first FTF, the weekend of my 100th find 3)a huge Barred Owl
watched calmly from right overhead the entire time I worked on
it.
