Located in The Red Deer and Bower Natural Area, off the trail that runs somewhat parallel to the Red Deer College ring road. There are at least five access points to the trail. If you wish to take in the beauty, the sounds and the smells of this wonderful wooded area tucked away in the southwest part of Red Deer College, start your hike from near the weather station. Terrain is well-drained,with local relief less than 30 feet. Take a picture of yourself/group.
Cache lies close to the north side of Waskasoo Creek,in a 14" by 4" green tupperware container. Watch out for the occasional thorny plants. The contents are: Note pad with pencil and info sheet 2 whistles 1 mini magnifying glass 1 corkscrew 1 eraser 2 rock samples 1 pocket stereoscope 1 camera
