C.I.T.O. or T.O.N.Y. of the Southern Tier Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Team Ferret: Cache has been stolen. The spot it was hidden in seems to be missing half of the cover I had there! Not going to replace this one.

Geocache Description:

This is an ammo box full of kits to help you get started in cleaning up any park or cache area you wish.

The official International C.I.T.O. day is April 16th, but this is a permanent cache for you to make any day a C.I.T.O./T.O.N.Y. day. We call this cache C.I.T.O. or T.O.N.Y. because Geocaching.com came up with Cache In/Trash Out. The New York Geocaching Organization came up with Trash Out New York. The cache container is a standard ammo can. Each kit is in a Ziploc bag. Please only take 1 kit per team or log name so everyone has a chance to get one. After all the kits are gone, the cache will be restocked with CITO bags only. You do not have to leave a trade item behind. There was a First Finders Prize, a 2004 CITO T-shirt.

*** After you get your kit post pictures of you or your team cleaning up an area. If you don't have a camera it's ok, just tell us about your clean up efforts. ***

Please hide this cache VERY well after you find it. Enjoy!
