Since there is a lack of caches to lodge travel bugs in this area, we decided to build our own little motel. Sort of a 'Flavor of Northern Michigan' in the lower part of the state. Remember when you were a kid; the small cabins, the pine trees, the neon outside the office? Well we don't have any of those, but we do have a cheap place for bugs to visit and spend some time.
This is an ammo can located about 200 feet in the woods east of the parking lot. This is a VERY busy lot so be watchful. Rehide the cache carefully. Please throw a dusting of snow over the cache when you're done so it doesn't stand out against the white surroundings. It appears the woods in this area are heavily used.
