Geocache Description:

This cache is situated on one of the largest heathland areas in Dorset.

This cache will take you on a hike around a part of Holt Heath once known as 'Egdon Heath'in Thomas Hardys novels.Parking can be found at N50.50.430 W001.55.660 along Holt Rd between Holt and Three legged Cross,there is space for a couple of cars.The cache will take you on about a 1.5 mile round trip,if you follow the trail you can do a circular walk.In wet weather some of the area might be a bit boggy. The cache is a ammo box which contains various goodies.
