Geocache Description:

Located off of Hwy. 60 in the Queen Valley area.4WD or 2WD with high clearance are recommended. The cache is located on State Trust Land and permits are needed.

This cache is being placed in honor of JR and Nancy of Team AJ.JR. They gave us this ammo can and most of it's contents at a birthday party in march 2004. We decided to place this cache in an area that is rich with Sonoran Desert plants and animals, as we both like to explore this type of ground. The cache contains: An Az. Stoneworx gift certificate(Stop and say hi to Karen (Mrs. Wrangler), A Cal Ripken Jr. book, 2 screwdrivers, a magnetic keyholder, CacheIn/TrashOut sticker, gloves, shoelaces, a notepad & pen, Smokey the bear story, Toothpick holder& toothpicks, and other asstd. items. There is 1 "cowboy" gate you will have to pass thru if coming in from Hwy. 60. Please re-hook the gate and respect the area. We hope you enjoy this spot and spend some time here. watch for critters in the warm months.Ther is also a benchmark in the area for those of you interested. It is in an area close to where you park about 485' west of the cache site. The barbed-wire fence is laying down close to the benchmark.
