The cache is in the City of Charleston's Lake View Park which is adjacent to Lake Charleston.
The cache is a camouflage-painted ammo box. Initial contents include Mardi gras beads, a $1 gold piece, an olympic pin, a deck of cards from the Tropicana, a pop CD, and a water bomb. It is located about 0.35 miles (as the crow flies) from the parking area which is across from the water treatment facility. Proceed downhill on foot past the gate which blocks the road until you reach the park entrance and travel to the right. The park is noted for its variety of spring flora, its steep ravine, and for some interesting vistas.
