There are
very few historical sites left in Mount Pleasant, but the few
remaining buildings that surround this location are at the
heart of what put Mount Pleasant on the map.
To claim this virtual cache you must answer two questions: What
was produced here and, at it's height, how much of it was produced
per day? Please do not post answers on the web, just post that you
found it and then e-mail us your answer.
Incorrect answers or posts that include
the answer will be promptly removed.
While you're in the area, be sure to check out Mount Pleasant's
nearby recreational parks (like Nelson Park off Broadway and Island
Park off Main Street) and visit the other historical buildings in
the area while they last! You can see the original 1907 City Water
Works building, the original Borden Milk factory, the newly
renovated Mountain Town train station (now a micro-brewery and
steak house), as well as the Ward and Broadway theaters - all
within walking distance of this virtual cache.
Also, if you have a WiFi (802.11g/b)
enabled device (like a laptop or pocketPC), feel free to stop near
the Mountain Town Station to pick up free
