Geocache Description:

This is the 2nd cache on Læsø / Dette er den 2. cache på Læsø
It was created by Buda the 15th of April, 2004 and adopted by Gavia the 19th of July 2007!

PLEASE, be careful when you handle the coins,
so I do not get logs that says they are gone!
Thank You!

SPRING BREAK – Laesoe

This cache was placed in the warm spring sun in April in 2004. After a great offer from Gavia, I joined him on a Caching Tour Deluxe. We had our own wings so the trip was more than nice!

Together with Geomuggler "Jonas, the wingman" we had a really nice time in the beautiful weather this day. The season was just around the corner, but we had most of the island for our selves. How nice!

Right before hiding this cache we had a superb dinner at the cache-nearest-restaurant Carlsens Hotel.
The "Engelsk Bøf" together with a few Classic made the day even more perfect. Highly recommendable!

After shopping some more "fuel" we called Stanley to pick us up (e-mail me if you ever need his number!). He took us back to where we started from and soon we took the stairway to heaven again…

The cache is located in one of the two nice harbours on the island Læsø. It’s easy to get there with ferry, your own boat or some other geomobile…

NOTE: Inside the cache container you will find a film canister, this is NOT an trading object! Here you get clues to the joint venture mystery cache EKLS.

To find the EKLS mystery cache follow the instruction below:
Add up the years on the Swedish 50-öre coins in Spring Break. Take the sum and divide it with 21,68 (NB, you must use this figure, no other) and you will get the three figures (SSS) you need, to complete the coordinate E 011 00.SSS

Be absolutely sure to replaced the cache exactly in the same way as you found it,
it must remain storm safe!

The cache is a 0,35 litre transparent "Lock&Lock" plastic food container,
and had the following content from start:

  • Log book
  • Pencil
  • A picture of my Smashing GeoCaching Dogs (SGCD) (NB, not a trading object! If you want a picture of the SGCD send me an e-mail and I will send you a picture!)
  • A Preem pin
  • A Tuborg toothbrush (what else would be suitable in Denmark!)
  • A beer opener (very necessary in Denmark)
