Geocache Description:

Flock to Downers Grove and join Woodsmom and Greenback in the search for ten new one-day-only geocaches hidden in and around the Downers Grove Park District parks! At the end of the day, a drawing will be done at the start/finish for prizes. Each geocacher/geocaching team will have one chance to win for each of the caches they have located during the day.

Rules for the day and coordinates will be available at the start of your migration on May 8, International Migratory Bird Day! Geocaching and birding are activities that go hand in wing. Have you heard the rat-a-tat of a woodpecker or the warble of a songbird as you are searching for a new cache? Your experience geocaching can be enhanced if you know a bit about the feathered friends you may encounter while following the gps arrow. In addition to the ten new caches available on May 8, there are more than 30 existing caches within 5 miles of Lyman Woods. Come out for a full day of geocaching! The event runs from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm May 8 only!
