This cache is just off the North Devon coast path and has spectacular views across Saunton Sands.
This was The Tinkerbell Hunters first cache and as they kept a caravan not far from there, they thought it would be nice to put a cache in a place with some of best views of this lovely coastline.
There are 3 possible approaches to this cache - from Saunton Sands car park N51 07.024 W004 13.175 ( there are charges to park which vary throughout the year - so plan it with a day on the beach!). Then follow the coast path past the hotel and take care crossing the busy road - take the coast path upwards ( marked avoiding the road - rather than the traditional coast path which goes to your left). You can also come up from Saunton Court - N 51.07.077 W004.12.307 which is a gentler, slightly longer approach. Thirdly for those who fancy a longer walk - you can walk up from Croyde.
The cache is a camouflage clip-top box. Watch out for the stinging nettles and brambles as you approach the cache and the occasional aggressive looking cattle - no reported incidents though!? Enjoy!!
