Two stage multi cache on flat trail.
On a Rails To Trails path going through Spruce Swamp in Fremont, NH. Spruce Swamp is one of the most important wetland areas in southern New Hampshire. Park in the parking lot at N42 58.806 W071 07.323. This is a two-stage multi-cache. The coordinates will take you to a hidden film canister, which contains a piece of paper with the coordinates for the cache.
The cache is a Rubbermaid container that was seeded with the following items:
Assortment of rubber dinosaurs
Flag stickers
Two pottery pieces
Frosty the Fragile Snowman travel bug
Tissues
There is also a log book and bug spray. Please feel free to use the bug spray, but leave it in the cache for others to use. The terrain is even, but it will be almost four miles round trip.
If you’re hungry, we recommend Fremont Pizzeria, which is just up the road from the parking location.
