Geocache Description:


This cache is the reincarnation of the original cache "Bama Hills". This cache is located in the gorgeous Alabama Hills region located on Movie Flat Road off of Whitney Portal Road just west of Lone Pine. Pangaea and I frequent the Bamas to enjoy the serenity and surreal landscape which this unique area exudes; also the rock climbing in the area is superb. The cache is a standard sized rubbermaid container. Minor rock scrambling is required, but absolutely no ropes or climbing gear is required for this cache. The 2 1/2 star terrain rating refers to the minor rock scrambling required. Remember cachers, look between the....
