Reflection Riding is a favorite place in the Spring for people
to come enjoy the wild flowers without having to get out of their
cars. However to find this cache you will have to park and enjoy
one of several beautiful hiking trails. These trails connect to the
Natinal Park and you can hike all the way to Point Park or Sunset
Rock on Lookout Mountain if you like.
This cache is further down the same trail as Nelson's Cache. You
can do it first and continue down the trail to this one, or if you
would like to park closer to this one you can drive to the back of
Reflection Riding where the trail intersects with the road near a
pond and gazebo.
Plan to make an afternoon or day out of this one as there is
much to do. Admission is a $6 for adults and $3 for children age
4-11 and seniors 65+. The admission covers entrance to the
Chattanooga Nature Center and Reflection Riding.
For those not wishing to pay the entrance fee for Reflection
Riding and the Chattanooga Nature Center there is a National Park
hiking trail with parking area just before you get to the Nature
Center. I am not positive that it connects to the other trails, but
I think it does. I will check on this and provide parking
coordinates when I have time, or someone else is welcome to if they
like.
