The cache is a 1L cammo Lock & Lock. It is well stocked and originally contains:
Surrey city of parks pin, Canada key chain, 2 hologram stickers, mini roll of
tape, teletoon carabiner, plastic rainbow slinky, fancy lead pencil, alien pen,
and a plush pig!
This short trek involves a 5 minute walk through a nice park in the heart of
Surrey (Fleetwood/Newton area). It is located in Enver Creek Park (the park
contains a soccer field and a baseball diamond, and a nice forest with paths
in the rear).
The best location for parking
is:
N 49° 09.080 W 122°
49.050
(near the "Enver Creek Park" sign) |
Start off by following the paved walkway. Eventually the walkway will curve
around and end, at which point you will be on a grassy path. Follow it to the
rear of the park. Note: There is an elementary school bordering one corner of
this park, you may want to avoid cutting through/parking in it during school
hours. Overall your best bet is to park at the suggested parking location (above).
The coordinates I took with my GPSr may not exactly reflect the cache location
since my GPSr is not "top of the line" and there are trees all around
the cache. If you find the coordinates off by a great distance please drop me
a line or post it in your log entry and I will adjust accordingly.
