Geocache Description:

Parking for this cache is located in Gregory, Michigan at N 42 27.615, W 084 05.076.

Lakeland Trail State Park is a “Rails to Trails” park which is a narrow stip of land that runs along an old railroad bed between Stockbridge Michigan and Pickney, MI. Gregory, MI provides a nice rest stop about ½ way down the trail where you can buy refreshments from a small convenience store. This park has a nice smooth path designed for hiking, biking and horseback riding. It is bordered on both sides by private land, so please make sure you do not trespass during your search for the cache. There are several “No trespassing” signs along the edge of the park, and there is also a run down fence so it should be easy to recognize the park’s boundries.

This a horse friendly cache. So you will not have to dismount from your noble steed to retrieve the cache. (Depending on how well trained your horse is) The container is a clear plastic racquetball can with a black screw on top that is about 4 inches tall and about 3 inches in diameter. Happy Caching! Please let me know when the log sheet is close to being filled up so I can replace it.
