This cache has been transfered here from North Shore Wanderer. The location is a wildlife reserve and is mainly used by 4x4 enthusiasts, dirt/mountain bikers, and the occasional deer.
Unfortunately in recent years, this area has been used as a dumping ground by locals and one might see things such as car parts and furniture on your journey to the cache site. Please do not despair as this is still a beauty. Many sandy trails abound and are fun to traverse. Don't just bring one bag, bring a box of them, or better yet, a pickup truck. Lets clean it up!A little bit by everyone goes a long way!The cache is a plastic box with a white lid. It contains several trade items and a log book with pen and pencil.Parking is available just at the entrance off Telephone Rd. N 44 05.826 W 77 39.845 and can be approached from the west via hwy 30 or the east via Wooler Rd. You may be able to approach from the east bound 401 rest stop but be aware that you may have to cross a water hazard.
