The cache is located in the Silver Lake recreation area. Elevation changes quite a bit,but if you follow my waypoints, it's a nice easy walk. Total distance is about 1.4 miles, of which nearly all is a service road that is hardly ever muddy. Plan to spend some time at this wonderful place. Overnight camping is allowed.
This is a "Double D" cache. The left container holds the log book, pencils, sharpener,etc. and is home for any "T.B's. The right container is for trade items. Cache is camouflaged nicely. This is a hand made container, so look at it carefully before opening, and be sure to close it the way it was intended to be. Park at the Silver Lake, Falls of Lana area, which is about .30 miles East of the Branbury State Park. Follow the trail to this waypoint-- N 43° 54.367 W 073° 03.705. You must go there or you will miss the Falls of Lana, (very nice).From there go to the cache coords. Great place for a picnic. Bring bug spray in the summer. Cache will be extremely difficult to find during snow season.
