De-fence-less Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Gaiter Man: The cache has been archived, since the nature of the hide has been severely compromised. The last few people to log this one definitely got a freebie.

How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

This is one of three caches that can be accessed from the "White Trail" in Fountainhead Regional Park. Although the trail will take you to within a couple of hundred feet, you'll still have some bushwacking to do, but it's relatively easy. If you do the "White Trail" loop in a counter-clockwise direction, this will be the first of the three caches. If you do the loop in a clockwise direction, there are two stream crossings.

You're looking for an orange, cylinder-shaped, match container; however, it's hidden from plain view. If you're uncertain as to whether the posted coordinates have led you to "ground zero", the cache name will provide a hint, which will help to confirm the general vicinity of the search area.

This is a log-only cache, since there's just enough room in the container for the log sheet and small pencil -- please don't attempt to add any other items.

Please replace the container exactly as you found it to preserve the challenge for those who follow.

Happy hunting!
