The log house at Claysville is located on route 93. The 200 year old log house served as a residence and a way station for changing horses carrying the mail from Keyser to Petersburg. The log house at Claysville is also a gift and antique shop. The barn has been restored but is not opened to the public at this time. The cache has been placed with permission from the property owner.
The cache is a small rubbermaid box inside a ziplock bag. It contains a small book for registering, a pencil, and some exchange items for finders. Good Luck!
