“INDIANA SPIRIT
QUEST”
The Indiana Spirit Quest series of geocaches
will take you to a number of small, rural, historic cemeteries
built by Hoosier Pioneers in central Indiana. You can map out a
route and get a bunch of ‘em in one trip!
INDIANA SPIRIT QUEST
#26
”Over Hill, Over Dale”
The trail of this quest will lead you
Greenwood (AKA Glenwood) Cemetery in Wabash County. We already did
Greenwood in Huntington County, remember? This little graveyard
sits on its own high hill, across the road from a chicken ranch,
next to a swine pasture. Note: Don’t mess with these pigs, they can
get MEAN! Anyway, there are a number of Civil War veterans at rest
here, but this cache is dedicated to a World War I vet. Remember
the Ammo Train Wagoner vet we met at one of the other Spirit Quest
Caches? Well, this fellow was a “Saddler” with a Field Artillery
Battery:
