Geocache Description:

Welcome to George the Geo-Troll's Geometric Cache. The above coordinates are not the actual cache location. They are the coordinates for the parking lot (approximately).

A little information about George. (see picture below). George was born in 1992. He spent many years on the run, he never really had a home, or even a name. Not long ago, he was found in a cache in Hamlin Beach State Park. The cache was overflowing it's container, so the HaleGang decided to take him home and adopt him. We gave him the name of George the Geo-Troll, and he now goes with us when we go geocaching. So this cache is dedicated to George.

You will have to solve George's puzzle to find out the actual cache location. The 3 sets of coordinates below represent the 3 points of a equilateral triangle. At the center of this triangle is the George's cache. So brush up on your geometry, and see if you can locate George's cache.

I apologize, the equilateral triangle is based on the earth being flat. (There is a term that people from the mountains use for city folk "Flatlanders". I must be one of those flatlanders. lol!) A different approach, that works also, is to just average out the points.

Point 1
N43 19.277
W077 42.934

Point 2
N43 18.052
W077 41.709

Point 3
N43 17.604
W077 43.382

The cache is a black 30 cal ammo box.

There is a lot of nature in this area. Four deer watched me place this cache. (I hope they don't give it away).
