Geocache Description:

Who ya gonna call?

“INDIANA SPIRIT QUEST”

The Indiana Spirit Quest series of geocaches will take you to a number of small, rural, historic cemeteries built by Hoosier Pioneers in central Indiana. You can map out a route and get a bunch of ‘em in one trip and at the same time learn a little about our history.

INDIANA SPIRIT QUEST #27
”Pretentious Smartness”

The trail of this quest will lead you to Swank Cemetery in Chester Township in Wabash County, Indiana. Old, yet active, this place has tombstones dating back to the 1840’s. When I first walked up the hill to this site, the hair on the back of my neck stood straight up and I shuddered as I felt a very cold draft on a warm sunny day-- a sure sign of restless spirits-- Can you see a faint wispy image in the photo above?

The micro-cache container is a small black tubular container of a new type that we have invented here at the dogyard. It is smaller in diameter than a 35mm film canister, but longer.(Patent Pending)I plan on selling them for seventy-five dollars apiece if anyone's interested-- Pull the ends apart to open it. If you find a fallen U.S. flag, please stick it back in the ground, preferably next to a Vet’s Marker. As always, please be respectful, and cache in, trash out. And don’t challenge the squirrels, you can never win!
