Mill Creek Swamp Traditional Cache

This cache is located on a fairly short and flat trail. I increased the terain rating because the trail is usually muddy and has a fair amount of small debis scattered over it.
This cache can be reached from either end of the trail but parking is limited or none existent at the south end. Street side parking for about 5 cars is available atN47 21.726, W 122 12.124. For the bird watchers amoung us, there are a couple of benches near the parking area that offer a nice dry view of the swamp. I saw a pair of Red-winged Blackbirds from there after planting the cache.I have known about this spot for several years but seldom visited it. Enjoy the walk and try to keep your feet dry.The cache is a 1 gallon rubbermaid container in a plastic bag. The original contents were strange red skydiver figure, a new Hot Wheels car, a chap stick lanyard, the Charles Sheffield book "Between the Strokes of Night", a toy drafting board from Cache the Last train to Hobbit Town cache in California and a Cache Me if You Can II travel bug.PS: The last time I put a book in one of my caches it remained there until the cache vanished. I would rather this one circulate amoung geocachers so please don't worry about the trading value of the book. If you want to read just take it.
