PARKING IS 2-3 MILES OUTSIDE OF CHEDDAR AT WINSCOMBE HILL JUST OFF A38.CACHE IS SUITABLE FOR ADULTS AND HEALTHY CHILDREN...NO BUGGYS. APPROX 2 MILES RETURN BUT A VISIT TO THE TOP OF CROOK PEAK IS RECOMENDED
After parking your car at above co-ordinates go through wooden gate, and head to first stage at N51.17.948 W 002.51.117. Here you will find a metal plate with 4 numbers on it in the form of a,b,c,d . Next go to N5(a-b).18.000 W00(b).(a+b)1.6(a)(b+d). Here you will find an inscription which will give you the finished title of cache. From here go to N51.17.732 W002 XX. 954. XX= Number of letters found in complete title of cache x 2. Before going to cache please take time to visit top of crook peak which is straight in front of you ,and take 10 minutes to just watch the world go by,ahead and slightly to the left you can see brent knoll, the setting for ALMOST AT THE TOP cache ,the best way to the cache from here is to carry on down the hill and pick up a footpath on your left When you get within 200 feet of cache please make sure young children are close by as there is a few steep drops, for this reason do not attemt this one at night, unless familiar with the area. cache is quite small and does contain a disposable camera so please dont forget to snap away
