The history:
This is the third cache in this King County wetland since the begining of geocaching.
The first cache in this area, Totem Cache by C and A was hidden in April 2001. To give you idea how long ago this was, it was Eraseek's 11th find and only the 20th find ever for Moun10Bike. This cache lasted until sometime in the
winter of 2001 about the same time we started caching. This cache was found by only 29 cachers and we weren't one of them.
The second cache along this trail was The
Cowboy's Return and was hidden in April of 2002. This was our first theme based cache and had 116 visited before it too ended up missing in the fall of 2003.
The cache:
The cache is hidden just a few feet from the original Totem Trail. It is in plain sight. You will not have to leave the established trail to find it but you may have to stoop or stretch to reach it, please respect the wetlands. This cache may be inaccessable after periods of heavy rain but it is placed so that it will still be there when the water recedes.
The container:
The easiest way to describe the container is to tell you that is is a Bison tube on steroids. It is big enough for a small logbook and a pencil but no room for anything else. The container is well disguised to not be easily noticed. Please make sure to screw the top back on tight.
