Cache is a 50 cal. ammo box hidden in the Old Smicksburg Park.
This cache is located near the remains of the old Salem Church in Smicksburg, the Amish Heartland of Western Pennsylvania. This area was abandoned shortly after it became the flood zone resulting from the construction of the Mahoning Dam. This is a very family friendly cache.While you’re here, enjoy the country and the simple lifestyle of the Pennsylvania Dutch. Watch out for slow moving buggies and their emissions! There is plenty to see and do in this area.
