A little hike of 2.0 miles. There is some elevation gain but you never go above 942'. Follow the trail signs from the bottom of Friendship to the bulletin board where there is a trail sign. Keep to the right side of the loop then follow the ridge. The trail is well-used and easy to find. My 6 year old daughter made the hike without too much trouble on her own (but she was roped up for her safety). At the cache site is a nice place to sit down and eat a snack.
I recommend starting at N21 24.339, W157 46.621 and finishing at N21 23.756, W157 47.171. There are 5 minor peaks that will be encountered.
Then why did I rate this a 3.0/4.0 hike? You will find out. Just remember that the Friends Cache is just the preface for this hike. Be sure to allow more than enough time.
