Geocache Description:

Cache is in a ammunition can. There are goodies for the kids, gentlemen and ladies.

This is located on the bank of Plum Creek, in Lower Plum Creek Park. It is open year round. Please follow posted park rules. This is the very same creek that Laura Ingalls Wilder played in when she was a child! If you read her books, especially "On the banks of Plum Creek", you will appreciate this area.

When you park in the parking area, look ahead and you will see the way.

The land the Ingalls Homesteaded is about 3 miles north of this park. The homestead area is seasonal. Check Here for hours. Explore the website so you can enhance your experience when you visit Walnut Grove.
