There is a guest registry for the Travel Bugs in the cache as well as a regular Log book. Please be prepared to fill out the Travel Bug Guest Registry with the following information: date, TB name, short description and mission. If you pick up a TB, please note the date and your name. There is also a regular geocache log.
There is no limit to how many bugs you can take or how many have to stay in the cache. The idea is not to restrict their travels but to help them.
The main thing to consider before taking a Travel Bug is "Can I help it with its current mission?". Please read the log entry or Web page for the Travel Bug to see where it wants to go.
These travel bugs can enjoy the pampering as long as they like, but no Bug likes to overstay its welcome. If a Travel Bug has been here for weeks, feel free to check it out and allow it to see more of the outside world.
The cache container uses two Snap-Locks on either end. Please release these before opening.
Plan a picnic. Not only will you have a good time, but you'll have a good reason to be there and the trees will give you good cover.
One last thing -- GPS reception in this area is poor due to the trees. The coords should get you there, but feel free to use the hint/spoiler.
**We originally placed this cache in April. We submitted it once it was perfectly ready. As luck would have it, another TB cache was placed nearby and approved before ours. We pulled it -- disappointed. When the other one disappeared, we helped look long and hard for it. After getting the owner's blessing, we went ahead and re-placed this cache where we had placed it before.**
