Geocache Description:

The listed coordinates will land you in the middle of a lake. Fine spot for light windsurfing, but no cache.

More coordinates: {N47 26.250 W122 17.721} These will take you near another lake. Don’t go there - smells bad, no cache there either.

To find the cache: Imagine a 3 angled, 3 sided polygon, one side of which is a hypotenuse made up of a straight line drawn between the two points identified by the given lake coordinates. Opposite this line will be two intersecting lines or line segments (running concurrently with the established Earth surface parallels and meridians). The cache is at the vertex. The amount of rotation about the vertex required to bring one line into correspondence with the other is 2pi rad – of course, you knew this.

Make no adjustments to calculations based on elevation or earth curvature.

Note: two vertices will satisfy this puzzle, but there’s only one cache. If you find yourself facing a dead-end full of muggle homes, go back to the drawing board.

Area hours are restricted - don't attempt at night!
