Geocache Description:

This is an easy drive up through some of the nicest areas of southeastern Michigan. Be sure to rehide this cache the same way you found it!!!!

Metamora is a very historic area and is known for some of the best horse farms in Michigan. There are many scenic beauty roads and countless horses lining any road you decide to take. Frequently, in summer months riders and carriages can be seen along the roads. Also, in August, Metamora hosts a wonderful hot air balloon festival and several Fox Hunts. Be sure to stop into town and check out the White Horse Inn for some great food and interesting history. Be sure to say hi to the Ghost of Lorenzo for us….. www.historicwhitehorseinn.com This is a micro that contains a log book, pencil, and a few really small trade items. Please do not try to put anything large into this cache, it just won't fit~! The real "find" here is the beauty of the area. There are tons of wildlife in the area including deer, turkeys, numerous birds, and many others. Be sure to drive carefully! This cache is readily available without wading, swimming, digging, walking very far, or wandering on to any adjacent private property. It is quite literally a drive up!!
